This was a lot of fun to design and build and will be incorporated in with a new installation where the flooring is installed around the circumference.   I designed it using Black Walnut, Clear Maple, Brazilian Cherry for the inner and outer bands and clear White Oak epoxied on my fiberglass backing.

  Here I came off the interior/exterior walls 6 courses to meet where the feature strips would begin. I fabricated the feature strips out of 1 piece of solid walnut inlaying the center oak strip. Incorperating fans to the inside corners adds an elegant feel.

  Here we have a new installlation, sand and finishing of stair treads with the landing as well as the first floor foyer and neighboring areas. A satin finish was chosen to apply for the third and final coat to achieve the natural look.

  Using 3 1/4" white oak material and appying the proper pigment can transform an area to fit formal intentions with an artistic flair.

  The dining area was customized upon request to accomodate the rooms seating and center piece. A natural satin finish was applied for that soft low luster look.

  This is a new 2 1/4" maple floor project with an added look using a curve to accommodate the tile. Notice there are no breaks from point A to point B on the curve giving the illusion i bent the wood.

  An exotic species such as this 2 1/4" Brazilian Cherry provides a natural merlot color distinguishing the area with personality. This species is known for its hard density.

Intricate border work, as well as medallions, can be created to accentuate a unique style to a desired wood floor project.
